Holy crap somehow got unsubscribed from this thread and missed the shenanigans. Eagle Rock looks like it was a good time.

Haha I know, I was just giving you crap. :D And actually, with two people in the bed, my suspension rode like a Cadillac. I think I might need an RTT or something to add some weight

I just finished editing the video and it's exporting now. Should be up soon.

It's still a mall queen to me...I've only seen it once in person and it was on a road. And you weren't driving! :D

I go on trails...usually when no one is watching :bananadead:

On Sunday I went up Halfmoon Creek outside of Leadville to get some pics of me not mall-crawling. Was hoping to get up to the mill at the end, but encountered a locked gate instead :(

Very cool. I didn't realize you had gotten SR8's. I want to see them in person soon.

And that looks like just a dirt road so we are going to have to get pics of you on a real trail. :p

I got the SR8's a couple weeks ago and had them installed last week. Halfmoon Creek is rated a 4 on TD, so yeah, basically a dirt road with some rocks in it.

It's bad when the PreRunner is making fun of me!

Squeaky Penguin, Night Eagle and I met some heep drivers from FR4x4 up at Moody Hill this morning.

I had never run the trail before, but I've heard there used to be a few obstacles on the trail. I'm guessing the forest service pretty much graded it all out as it was a really smooth, mellow trail.

The saving grace was the rock quarry which was a really fun place to play around. It really flipped my trigger that Brett and I could make it right up the quarry and only one of the jeeps would even attempt it. He quit after a pretty decent wheelstand that I failed to capture with the camera.

Leo was running his brand new lift, but has no armor yet so we excused him from attempting the upper part
    DSC01524_bd7a762ad998014b726c6e7505388ea426517975.jpg

After playing around at the quarry a bit, the other trucks started rolling in. It seemed like it was almost all toyotas. There were quite a few toyota truggys including a ginormous FJ (kinda) with a 4 cylinder cummins, some ridiculous axles and, I think, 44 inch tires.
    DSC01544_be521df300695bd965d9d87bacb8aac517dbeb4e.jpg

This beast was so big that it took three vehicles to winch him up from where he broke a rear axle.
    DSC01600_c36b65b188db575938505467a2bc94e3e21a33e2.jpg

Another toyota flopped on the lower part.
    DSC01577_e879428730588778403feeb117c79f52cb1b5550.jpg
but they got him righted and he went on to tear up some more of the area
    DSC01646_e258886429873341e181bc26c723cb561d987867.jpg

A newer FJ cruiser attempted the quarry and rearranged his plastic bumper pretty good before getting winched the rest of the way.
