Oh man, Eric, that was a great report! I have never done Spring Creek and now I REALLY want to. I really need to find out what is clicking in my front end before I go do something that might cause breakage though.

A small handful of select mods.
WillT - there are plenty of trails in Colorado that pass trough private property or grazing lands and you are allowed to pass but you need to move the gate, drive through, and replace the gate. Most of these at times look like a fence with just poles and barbed wire that you need to pull taunt. That could be this situation.

I might have heard a story about an insurance claim on a "stolen " vehicle that went somewhere it never should have. Not a good way to try to fix stupid mistakes

Then again I did see a Prius near devils canyon on the way to Mt Evans last time I went up there

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Squeaky penguin and I ran middle st vrain and Conny flats as a spontaneous trail run. It was a little hairy in a few spots with out sliders but we'll worth it. Will have pictures posted soon.

So I finally found my way up to MSV/CF, a trail I've been wanting to hit for awhile. We cruised right through it without any issues.

    Leo on the guardian obstacle:

In one of the first deep water sections:

    Obligatory poser shot:

    IMAG0863_zps4feyvbs1_3d20734d49a2bee0bb4f46c02b02a0dcfe48d6bb.jpg

    In the famous water crossing:

    IMAG0864_zpsygqagcye_6e6f60cdae167b064498f81b11e3a528d3309278.jpg

    Cool view:

    IMAG0865_zpseqkcdzsd_6998ae06625ed58418bbcc9497ba8d4d475fee98.jpg

Finished that up quicker than I though, so we headed over to check out the T33A crash. Leo on one of the obstacles:

And then a bit of excitement! This is a wonderful position to be in when your brake pedal starts going to the floor. Note the brake fluid over the front passenger tire.

For some reason the banjo bolt decided to loosen up. Don't think I've touched it since buying the truck. Going to pick up some new crush washers and redo both sides tomorrow.

Anyways, a bit of a fun impromptu run.

    Nice.

That guard obstacle looks a lot more mellow than in year's past.

    What haven’t I changed?
That's because the picture doesn't show the huge rock at the end of it.
