I just bought one and thought I'd pass on the deal to the rest of you folks.

    SuperFlow MV-90 Portable Compressor

One of the guys in my club did a test, it fills a 33x11.5 tire from 15-38 psi in 1min 30s.

    I bought mine here

If you don't like ebay, the next best price is oneclickdirect, last check was $141 plus shipping (which for me would have been about $20)

Many of the members here have the smaller MV-50, and they are very popular. The guy in my club who I mentioned used to have one, it finally died after 6 years. He said he could fix it... but he felt it was time to upgrade to a bigger unit.

This unit is a 67% duty cycle, fyi

I have had it for going on four years and it worked for me flawlessly since. I snagged it for $50 at costco.

    Ah, OK then.

Yeah, they aren't doing it. The lowest price I found was about $80 but it was a shady dealer.

    Gratz to you then!

Can you explain the duty cycle? I was looking at Viair and it mentions that. Thanks

It is how long the machine can operate before it needs rest. for example, this unit needs 20 minutes to cool down after 40 minutes of use.

The calculation for this is (run time) / (total usage time) * 100 = duty cycle.

total usage includes the cool down period.

i got to use mine today, it's fast enough that the other guys weren't believing that I had fully filled before moving on to the next tire. Truth is, I was actually 5 pounds too high and had to go back to deflate!

There's only three things I don't like about the unit:
    1. after usage, the quick disconnect got hot enough that I nearly burnt myself taking it off for storage. Next time I'll wait a few minutes
    2. the guage is terrible. if I stop filling once the guage reaches ~45psi, which either means I'm at 25 psi or 40 psi. Instead I wait until it creeps nearer the 50 mark, which usually means I'm at 40 psi and can deflate down to where I want not a big deal because we are talking about just a few seconds here or there. Note I'm on stock tires.
    3. Can't replace the guage with something more useful unless I can get creative.

Even still, the benefits far outweigh these setbacks. The price is great, nice and portable, comes with a decent bag, fast, and looks to be overall built well.
