$ 695.00 for a flashlight?

Are you talking about my sig pic? I think what your seeing is my tires cause i took that pic right after i got it lifted and hadn't unloaded the old tires yet.

Back on topic I have a RA Clicky that i paid like 200$ for. it puts out a true 200 lumen, is completely customizable with strobe. I carry it at all times because its too hard to get a Concealed Carry permit in CA and a quality flashlight can be a lifesaver.

 

Did you see they sell a $300 fold away knife...Cool stuff, but would never need it, want it maybe, need it no.

 

if it was very dark and you needed it to save your life..i bet i could sell you one for $700.

i love surefires. my brother SWAT team ordered a bunch of the ones pictured. i wanted to steal one, but the irony stopped me.

i have a few less expensive models. there is no substitute. i did a huge deer hunting hike. 5 guys. 2 surefires. at the end of the trip, we only had petzl headlamps and those two surefires working. everything else broke. my surefire got passed around like a drunken promdate.

 

Daymn! 1200 lumens and for $33 something doesn't seem right.

 

had plenty of surefire, the gov loves them b/c they only last 30 mins and then the gov has spend more money on batteries

 

I have yet to find a flashlight that works very well outdoors during the daytime with no shadows around.

 

we use those at work (f16 electrician who works at night). they are nice but def not that nice. plus the batteries only last about an hour because of their intense brightness

LoL...actually, i do have a 35w HID flashlight.. its pretty big.. lasts about 1 hr on full power and then 1.5 hours on the lower power (20w?) which is really no different...

I also own a 50w HID flashlight.. its a bit longer.. lasts ab out 1.5hrs on full power and about 1.7hrs on the lower power (~35w). which again, is really no different...

this would have been my second 'pocket rocket' but i let my sis use my 7th run and it got stolen while she was training in the police academy -_-

That is definitely a lot of money for a light but it's not an average light. I spent about $180 on a Surefire E2D LED Defender and feel it was worth every penny. I use the light all the time and it blows away all other lights I've ever used.

For the money I feel you probably get more bang for your buck with Fenix lights but it's hard to beat a Surefire if you can justify the price.

If I had a need for a 800 lumen light I would absolutely consider buying it.

i bought two lights from them and they work as decent little glove box lights...I ended up giving them away.

I would rate it around 50-60 lumens...no where near 350. Be carefull of stuff that is super cheap.

 

Ive got a nite core EZ CR2 and I love it! VERY durable and really brite. It always impresses people with how bright it is.

Don't forget about Surefire Hellfire, it's only $5k 3000 Lumens

I prob have 1800 bucks in Surefire products, yes I will say they are expensive but they are the best of the best... We all spend 3 to 5k more money vs a Chevy Colorado or a Ford Ranger why.. We all know Quality.. Same reason I have two weapon lights that cost over 400 a piece.. When I need to use them my life is in jepordy and when I go to use it I know it will work.. That is why the US Navy Seals and every other military branch uses them.. I know the last thing Bin Laden got to see.. The blinding light of a Sure Fire!!
