    First time I talked to them, they said it would be replaced with a newer improved nano. When I got a conformation call that they got it, lady said it would be a 6th gen.. if I sent my perfectly good working nano for the same thing I will be alittle pissed...

    I also didn't wait for a box to ship it in, I called Friday, dropped it off to ups Monday, they got it Tuesday. Ups boxed it up and shipped it.

    If it were being replaced with refurbs, you would think they take what we send in, replace the battery, wipe it, and send it back out to the next guy. The only problem is that some, like mine, we're gifts and had custom engravings on them, or people drew and decorated their cases. So they wouldnt have enough to fufill every order

    All you guys getting envelopes, were your units customized in terms of engraving? Mine was , but I got a fancy box for mine. I wonder if that makes a difference.

    Maybe they plan to return mine so they want to take care of it, and the non engraved ones will be replaced with something else?!?

    mine isnt ingraved, but the front has had a cover on it since i took it out of the box, so there is not a scratch on it, the back cover came off about a yr ago and is a little scratched up, but im not worried about the back.

    thats why i dont want a refurb one, not everyone was as careful with theirs as i was, i still need to test the battery to see how long it last, but it still works good. I guess since i was never a hard core user of it, only really used it when i went to the gym and traveled on the plain.
