This was like 2 years ago.... I would never spend over $200 on a battery.

So, you're using a "like $115" deal you got "like 2 years ago" as a benchmark for what constitutes a decent deal today?

I'm not interested in spending over $200 for a battery either. Thankfully, this is only $143 which, according to a couple of Internet searches I did, appears to be $30-$40 cheaper than today's going price...

Yes. Yellow tops are designed to provide the deep-cycling capability required to support accessories like running lights, high-performance stereo/AV system, winches, etc.

Don't our trucks use either the 27f or 24f depending on towing package?

I bought a 35 at costco because it was a good deal but the connectors weren't a direct fit. I decided to take it back because I didn't want to hassle with trying to get it to fit.

3 Parts FoundGroup #Description27 (8037-127) YellowTop®; Deep Cycle Battery; 35 (8020-164) RedTop®; Battery; D35 (8040-218) YellowTop®; Deep Cycle Battery;

Here is the part No's for the V6 engines with tow package directly from Optima's site.

Oh and that is a good price from Amazon. I have been watching that price for a while now and it does beat most everyone else, like Costco,autoanything and rockauto. But Autoanything says that if you find another price they will match it up to a year from purchase.

I ordered one a few years ago from amazon, they put it in a fridge size box with a single piece of paper stuffing. Ended up with 2 batteries and my money back

Guess that's part of the reason amazon started asking for "packaging feedback" on their box sizes LOL
