those techron bottles cost like $10 a piece if you were to buy them at the parts store. How can Costco sell them so cheap? I thought the first post regarding 6 bottles for $23 was a great deal. Now I'm going to wait till they are even more on "sale"

Parts stores work on much higher margins.

Costco's margins are incredibly small because they make up those dollars via a $55 annual membership.

Plus Costco buys in large quantities so their cost goes down based on volume.

Wrong, what costco sell is different than the ones from for say Advance Auto

Costco bottle states ONLY fuel injector cleaning, while the ones from Auto part store is a complete fuel system type of thing.
The bottles are different. They have 2 different types of Techron.

    Sure there are.

But we're talking about the Pro Guard Fuel Injector Cleaner.

Most stores sell the 12 oz fuel injector cleaner for $6.

Costco's size is 16 oz. And you can get 6 of them for $11 sometimes, but most of the time it's $18 (here in CO at least).

    Stores price per ounce: $0.50
Costco price per ounce: $0.11 (on sale) or $0.18 (CO price) or $0.24 (at the $23 case price).

So it's either almost 1/5th the price or less than half.

Yeah the Fuel Injetor cleaner is a little cheaper than the complete fuel system cleaner but still expensive when comparing to other brands like "Gum Out".
