For those of you already running Mobil 1 in your rigs there is a new mail in rebate being offered by Mobil Oil to keep a bit of cash in you pocket!

Yeah, the link lists them as "some participating retailers" but I can't find a complete list.

Last time Mobil offered a deal on the jug I bought from Wal-Mart and had no problem with the rebate. Added bonus was Wal-Mart is the cheapest carrier around here for the 5w-30.

I'll swing by there on my way home tonight and see if I can't find the rebate forms they speak of and maybe get a complete list from it?

 

fwiw, I bought enough for 2 rebates from walmart last time and it worked, (use diff name/address for second). nearly forgot about the rebates by the time they came in lol.

 

Just called Mobil's service line at 1-866-895-9127 and confirmed the list is not complete and that Wal-Mart is a go. Biggest point they explained was that the reciept must clearly indicate Mobil as the product you purchased.

Me too, I think I did two then also. FWIW, this rebate says limit two (2) rebates per household too. It's a new offer from last time so we should be good to get it again? I guess I'll find out, I know I'll need the oil either way!

They say to allow 6-8 weeks and I think that sounds about right from last time. I picked up 2 jugs last night

Dang it, I bought all my oil and filter off Amazon a couple weeks ago because Wal-Mart wasn't listed. I definitely could have saved a few more bucks but tough shit I guess.
