    yeah, these are very small pocket/keychain lights (edc). generally cr2 is about the smallest battery size in commerical flashlights without going with stacks of calculator batteries. its not a common light battery, say like CR123 is.

    dedicated gun lights have recoil mechanisms on both ends (and switches). its also a twisty 2 mode, vs a push button.

    due to the reflector, this nitecore cr2 light also provides good spill relative to throw.
