Never tried one, but curious if it really works as described.

this is a pretty rediculous tool. i demo'd one at Sears. it seemed much louder than a manual hammer, and took longer to pound in a nail. i have yet to find a time where something like this would be necessary. more of a conversation peice, "hey look at my cool new tool that you dont have", than useful.

They actually work really well in spaces where there's no room to swing a hammer. They're definitely noisy but they're also effective.

The sears one sucks but the Ryobi is pretty good. Its very helpful for tight spaces.
