Opinions on the California Car Duster

I have been using the California Car Duster for about a year now on my '69 Camaro and was curious if anyone else has ever used one. I was especially interested in the opinion of our resident Detailer Pro.

I've had a couple of them .... The one I have now is really old. We've been using it on our corvette. Does great for wisping the dust away. Use it mostly on the corvette now-a-days.

I wanna know how ya clean it.... Ours is really old and getting kinda ratty looking too.

I just shake mine before I use it to get the bigger particles off, they say that the dirtier it gets the better it works... not sure how that happens, but I does seem to work fairly well.

I too have used them for years. They work really well for a light dusting. Especially in the Spring with all the pollen. I buy a new every 3 or 4 years.

You ever use one you'll like it. Saves a lot of time. The blade works great also.

I have cleaned my California Duster in the Washing machine, then hung it out to dry. I have used one on every vehicle I have owned. I usually use the duster when my truck gets dusty the day after waxing. I use the duster, then follow up with spray wax/detailer to keep my wax job looking good. Saves me time in the long run when it comes to washing. I usually only have to use soapy water from one of those coin wash places and all the dirt just runs right off.
