So I'm looking for a good All-Purpose interior cleaner. Something to clean the grime off of the plastic. My work is in the mechanical field (boilers) so I get all sorts of grease and crud getting into and out of the Taco.

Back in the day my wife had a Citrus Cleaner but it wasn't a degreaser that had to be diluted. It was a household cleaner that she would buy at Walmart, but alas, it was discontinued. I cleaned all the crud off of the door panels, steering wheel, soda stains, everything.

Hondabrite works great, but it doesn't smell too good. Doesn't have to work on carpet, WeatherTech covers that for me...

    Any Ideas?

I just use a very mild degreaser. I find they remove the scum the best, and don't do any damage. A little armor-all afterwards, and she's good to go.

I found by accident that the window cleaner that foams up, works pretty good to take grim off plastic. Was cleaning my driver window and some of the foam got on the door where I rest my dirty arm, and it cleaned all the dirt and grim off. Now I use it all the time for that kind of thing!

For heavier grime I use Fantastik. Just be careful as it is strong enough to remove the color from painted plastics. Also Simple Green Aircraft & Precision Cleaner. This is a product you will dilute.

For light/regular use I use Mothers Preserves Protectant. It is low shine and doesn't attract dust particles. Also you mentioned smell and the Mothers smells like cherry. I don't think there is a better all around protectant.

A bucket with a small amount of dish soap (soft type, nothing too harsh in the grease cutting arena) and a cloth.. I use the yellow ones (microfibre) from costco. Wring em out real good.
That's what the manual likely says. Gets the hand grease off and just about everything else and you can use more water as necessary to get bigger stains disolved and sopped up or pushed out of site. If you go really wet.. just vacuum with a shop vac and leave the windows open over night, fan as necessary...

Sprays from the store are fine, but I don't like em. Never know what they are. Why pay for em.
