I would love to do the bumper but im afraid it would just peel off. I am gonna do the grill though. If it looks good ill probably pull it off over time and just sand it down and paint it with a matte black to get the same effect just permanent. I really like how easy this stuff is to use. Just make sure you let it dry well between coats and hit it lightly each coat. I made the mistake of hitting it a little too think and it rounded off the edge between the letter and the tailgate, therefore it peeled off as one piece.

I need to get new seats for both of my boats. Would be a good time to do that for 40 dollars a seat!

Thanks man, it turned out much better than I thought it would.

I did my bumper months ago and so far so good. It hasn't peeled or gotten scratched at all. Hell, I figured for $12 it's worth a shot.

Well I did the grill of my truck this morning and it really turned out great. I always seem to get a little peel everytime I take the tape off. Very frustrating.

For my valance, I got a small flathead screwdriver and when I applied a coat, I just likely scrapped the edge. I did that after every coat when it was wet and never had tearing.

No problem. Its harder to cut it with a knife when its dry and be exact with it.

Went ahead and did my rims with Plastidip, also found on a jeep forum that you can do the card trick while leaving your rims on the truck. Was a cool and easier way to do them. If i get around to it ill post some pics tomorrow. total for the mod was $14. 6 bucks a can (bought 2) and 1 deck of cards.

Ok ok, went ahead and got a few pictures, they are from my cellphone so dont look very good. First here is what it looked like when I had the deck of cards in the tires and sprayed the first coat.

I tried the PlastiDip thing on my emblems last night. Peeled off real easy. Too easy. It peeled off the emblems as well. Any idea where I may have screwed it up. Followed these instructions. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ems-plastidip-no-emblem-removal-required.html
Besides the fact that the emblem says Lexus I can't understand why it didn't work. I let the final coat dry for an hour and even hit it with a hair dryer.
