I had the girlfriend trace the outline on my badges with a safety pin. I don't have steady hands.

Plasti dip is great stuff. The plasti dip on my grill surround is starting to peel a little in the corner where I didn't get a good coat on it, but the badges are holding up excellent. I love the way it looks around the A/C controls as well.

I wasnt sure what to go with on the ac and stereo surround. I have an aftermarket double din in mine but want it black. I thought about plastidip but I also have a can of krylon fusion. Can you post pics of how yours came out? Thanks

Just finished my doing emblems! it came out pretty decent i'd say haha but word of advice for those who are going to do it soon. When you start peeling it off go really slow and you will have less cutting to do, but keep a razor blade or exacto knife near by. Patience is key in removing it.

I have to think that it's not good to spray plasti-dip directly into the grill like the guy on the VW above. Wouldn't there be a chance of coating a portion of your radiator? I have to think that would affect heat exchange.

If you're going to do the grill with it still on the car than you just get some cardboard to wedge in between the grill and the radiator to keep it from flying around. Cardboard or heavy duty garbage bag

and has anyone tried the plasti dip primer? seems like it would make it last a lot longer, or even if you just put it on the edge of wheels to keep it from peeling?
