    You don't want to know...
Don't expect it to give you a perfect clean surface like paint would, but being black it hides well.

As long as you can get to it, you can peel it off with your fingers.
What you can't, a micro fiber cloth and some tar and bug remove will take it off... little nicer on the paint than gas.

So today I decided to pull the trigger on Plasti Dipping my emblems on my doors. So I headed up to home depot and got a can and headed home. I prepped off around the emblems with painters tape, I did 6 coats, one every half hour, and any overspray came off the paint without problems. The part that went wrong for me is I only waited an hour to take everything off and it peeled too much in spots onto the emblem. So if anybody out there plans on doing this, give ample time before removing the tape and excess Plasti Dip, I didnt feel the need for a pic on this. I think I am going to just take it all off tommorow and tackle this again in the spring when its a little warmer. Just thought I would give fellow TW a heads up on how NOT to Plasti Dip their emblems.

I think the tape only comes off when it's wet. If it dries then it bonds to the tape.

So now I am a little confused did I wait too long now to remove the plasti dip? The plasti dip did bond to the tape but it was all coming off in one motion pretty much just some came off the emblems in some places.

I did my lower bumper this weekend. I let it dry for 2-3 hours and then removed the tape. I used an exacto knife to avoid any problems though.

orrr you just wait for it to completely cure, then kinda separate the edges from the tape. carefully with an exacto maybe, then just peel around the letters very carefully. just go slow bro. and make sure its completely dry. i waited for like a long time on mine

    completely stock
lesson one in autobody... take the mask off as soon as your done... if you let it dry, basically the tape is under the paint/ plastidip and will peel it off... when its wet you dont have to exato or cut it it will separate when you feel it off
