Maybe just cut a little rectangle of masking tape to put over the labels for each one just like you would do for all the buttons?

Well the climate control area came out fantastic. I chickened out on the stereo faceplate for now because I'm still thinking about what to do about that labeling.....a4u2ujub_03c717dec51d6eba72d67cd26da8982a92b946fb.jpg

Looks good. I tried it on one of my gauge rings the other day. Not sure if I like it though.

Did the overhead console a while ago too.

ohhhh man. One run through the automated car-wash (with the spinning things) and my T on the driver side is starting to peel already.

Shit. I did like 5 good coats too. Maybe I'll have to tape her up and do a few more. Could be from the wash, or the guys after that dry the truck with their towels getting caught on the corner.

    hmm.

I would consider a touch-less car wash from now on. I only ever wash mine myself in the big wash bays when i go to the car wash.

I would never use a touch car wash but thats just me. I think they are too abrasive.

I should also mention that i have been detailing cars since i was about 7-8. And 9/10 times i hand wash and dry my vehicles :)

I miss being able to use a touchless car wash. I havent used one since I got my front bumper since I'm worried the stinger will freak out the sensors

I just used two cans of plasti dip doing my roof and it looked horrible, pulled it all off as soon as it dried, by the way it isnt cheap up in here in canada. that was $50 down the drain. If my 3m carbon fiber doesnt work out on my interior I may do some of it with plasti dip.

    Here is the overhead console.

Decided to do the other gauge rings. They just pull straight out. I used a small knife and a thin flathead screwdriver. Just go slow and pop one tab at a time and you'll be fine.

FWIW, I don't wait between layers anymore when I derp. I put down about 5 or 6 layers in a matter of minutes until it looks nice and glossy. Seems to have a better texture that way.

^ Nice job.Looks great i might do that to mine too. I thought i had to take the complete odometer and gauges out to get the rings off.
