Which is EXACTLY why I didn't do mine all black. It is common, you see it all the time. Blacked out stock rims. I personally like tires that are a little different than what is out there. I think the OP dark red works fine, but again it depends what type of red remains after it dries.

For everyone saying its not that great, I have beat on mine just to see if I could get it to peel (on the rear bumper).

I did a crappy job (redoing it soon) so I wanted to see if I could get it to peel, Ive hauled rocks in the bed and dropped them off the bumper and junk, pressure washed it multiple times, it sleeps outside, nothing!!!

Then I finally drug my rear bumper on a hill and only then did it slightly peel, I checked it, pushed it back, and its doing fine lol

^^ Cmack, was yours done over a chrome bumper? How long have you had it plasti-dipped?

I'm doing mine right now, got 4 coats done and looking good. I'm doing one more tonight, and maybe one more tomorrow. I think most people have said they do about 5 coats.

    You don't want to know...
I've learned that if you take the power washer at the car wash and hold it literally a half an inch from a plasti-dipped surface, it will start to tear through it.

The plus side is its plasti-dip, one little shot from the can, and its good as new!

Can you remove this later on when you decide you don't want it anymore? Will it ruin the pain underneath when you decide to?

In the future please read the thread before posting. Yes, you can just peel it off at any time with no damage to your paint.

Well it has been about 6 months and the plasti dip is holding up well. I wash my truck about once a weeks and its been through some rough weather rain, snow and some hail. Just got 2 cans and I'm thinking about doing the roof. I'll keep you guys posted.
