Just started to paint my siler plastic, Im doing the shifter cover first. Then see how it turns out then ganna do the stereo. But Im using SEM Color COat Satin Black.. and this stuff works great! I got my first coat on, and only prep needed is wash and light sand.... :D

just about black everything. i don't dig the chrome.
did mine a little while back and i love it. i did a little bit of red trimming to go along with the TRD theme. it looks pink in the picture but very much red in person. also did the shift console and the chrome trim around the shifter i did red also. something to think consider

Nice job! How difficult was it to pop off that center console? I've always wanted to do that kind of stuff, but was/am always worried I will break something?

the center console cover and the AC controls were the easiest to pull off. All you need is a butter knife. lol...
And then just sart from the front and pry up on it carefully. It just pop up. Verry easy!

Thanks guys! I used the SEM Color Coat paint in Satin Black. Came out nice, looks OEM to me and others.
I didnt sand it, but buffed it with a scotch brite pad. then cleaned it good. and used a Adhesion Promoter before painting.

I did about 4 light coats.

@ETaco23 Which adhesion promoter did you end up using? I know SEM has two different types depending on the plastic type.
