how to remove paint on plastic part of bumper and license plate?

Whats the best thing to use to remove paint splatter from the plastic part of the rear bumper and license plate.
splater came off the clear coat with my thumb nail but wont come off the plastic part of bumper or license plate that way.

 

YOu have color matched bumpers right?

Well...and this might be weird... I've used the creamy white go-jo on my fenders when I got frigin highway road paint on my truck. Slop it on, wait a couple minutes, and rub it off. It might take some elbow grease.

 

Claybar and lots of patience.

 

Acetone, it works on clearcoat as well. I just used on the plastics inside my cab and in my steering wheel because the dealer sprayed some kind if paint on the wheel. Obviously don't use a sponge and let it sit there all day. Just wipe it like you were cleaning a window. Clearcoat is pretty tough.

You can even use some polish if you've got it handy. If you've got a rotary polisher, it will help make short work of it.
