    None, YET!
CA= 10.00 fine + removing it, and then get the ticket signed off, then paying to get it done again. Probably ends up being a 70 to 80 dollar fine every time, It looks good though!!!!!!!

It's all in my head at the moment...
    http://www.tintdude.com/laws.html

    California

The main requirements for legal window tinting in California are:

    1. The windshield and front driver's side and passenger's side windows cannot receive any aftermarket tinting.
    2. If the rear window of a vehicle is tinted, the vehicle must have outside rearview mirrors on both sides.

I was just browsing different forums about tint laws. In CA, yes it's a $10 fix-it ticket but it is recorded as such and then can be used against you if stopped again for tint offenses. One kid was pissin' and moaning cause he got stopped by the same cop 3 different times on his way to work (fishin' in a barrel I believe they call that) because of the same tint. DUH!

Attitude is huge too. It was posted that if you give the cop a hard time, he could skip over the fix-it part, deem the car as "unsafe" which leads to impounding and a tow. That adds to the "$10" only charge. Even without that said, The fix-it ticket takes up your time. You have to get the tint removed (which now you ADD what you paid for the original tint job and the removal charge if you have a shop do it) you have to get it signed off by a law officer (time and gas expense) and then if you're ballsy enough to get tinted again, then add that coin. $10 is just scratching the surface. So to say it's ONLY $10 is weak.

Thanks for the post though, it gave me something to do.
