Best way to remove vinyl "stickers" from paint?

Hey guys,

Just wondering how you'd recommend removing stuck-on dealership stickers from my Taco's tailgate. They put it really close to the actual "Tacoma" badge so I'm worried using a solvent to remove it may run down onto the factory badge and affect it, too. I tried peeling it off but it doesn't seem to want to come off. Is heat the best option here?

Thanks!

Yes. Hairdryer. Should be able to just peel it off then. May be a little more difficult since it's been on so long. I remove my dealer stickers the day I bring them home.

Goo gone should help with the remaining adhesive.

3m also makes an adhesive remover that works well once you peel it off.

I'm having this exact issue...any suggestions on products to get rid of that?

Any auto parts store or walmart will have it. I've even seen it at gas stations.

Gasoline will take it right off. Wash thoroughly afterwards.

I took my dealership sticker off and then got the residue off with gasoline. washed it , then waxed.

You don't need to douche it either. A little gas will go a long way.
