what happpend

I just finished applying yeaterday duplicolor clear coat to my bumper after I applied black OEM Duplicolor paint, today when I went to check the clear coat dried with this white powder effect to it. Not clear at all. I don't have a picture to post, sorry, but what can i do to fix this?

What can I do to fix this? I don't have a paint booth. And here in Miami our RH drops down below 60% only in Dec and Jan.

 

post a picture of the bumper. some times moisture can settle in the paint and it can be taken care of with a light warming from a heat gun. this is common in new cars when they arrive at the dealers with the protective film covering the fresh paint.

 

Will post a pic later tonight when i get out of work. It's been around 89% RH here in Miami these last few days. Actually, its been raining here all week non stop.

Humidity without a doubt. You're gonna need a paint booth in that kinda weather.

 

Try the heat or wet sand and re-apply the clear when the weather is more cooperative.

 

I ended up resanding the darn thing. I'm taking to work tomorrow and repriming and painting it again indoors in a airconditioned storage area of my job.
