How do you clean your Buffer Pads

Recently got a Griot's 6in DA Orbital. Came with 3 pads. Highly recommend this buffer.

But how do I get the polish and wax out of them?

Don't want to buy "pad cleaner" looking for a home remedy. Any ideas?

My buffer has terrycloth covers that I simply throw in the washing machine.

And welcome to TW.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

These pads are foam.

Spray with an all purpose cleaner and let sit. Then rinse out in the sink. Sometimes you can use Dawn but make sure that you rinse all of it out.

I use a pad washer. They're awesome, but crazy expensive.

Just use an APC and rinse thoroughly.
