What is this and how do I get rid of it?

So I was washing my G yesterday and I noticed this odd mark on the paint. It is about the size of a thumbtack head. I inspected the rest of the car and I found one other identical mark on the driver's side fender.

I take REALLY good car of my vehicles using Menzerna products.

Does anyone know what this is and how could I get rid of it???

Thanks,

R

Cracked clear coat

I had the same thing on my Ford Ranger after having a small door ding pulled. I put a little clear nail polish on it and then waxed it and it was almost imposible to see after that.

It's called spider webbing from where, like the others said, the clear coat has cracked.

Do you think it could have been like that or did it happen recently? Sometimes when the top coat is applied to thick in some spots it will dry faster and sink or drop down, resulting in a star fish or that a spider web. This also happens with wood working if you brush on a poly to thick.

Thank you everyone.

Stratton, I'm pretty sure it is new. I'm very meticulous when it comes to my vehicles and upkeep.

I actually have touch up paint and clear coat. Maybe I will give it a shot to see if I can repair it.

Thanks again.
