So, I have a truck I care about now. I have a $3 snow brush. My friend says the little nylon needles that make the brush will scratch the paint.
True? if so, what do you guys use brush/wipe snow off the truck and still have the paint look decent when its warm out?

I've trained mine to just shake it off like a dog. :D

Seriously tho, if you wax it well before the snow season, and you're not too aggressive about getting the snow off, you will be fine.

Also, I never use the brush to remove snow from the paint, just the windows and mirrors.

Don't press hard and you won't scratch the paint. If you go all Chuck Norris with the brush, then yes, you will do damage, otherwise, no worries, just don't use the ice scraper on the paint.

Pretty much anything scratches the clear coat on these trucks

I use a brush but don't go right down to the paint , leaving a 1/4" of snow or so .

Car dealerships use a little handled plow-like devise to remove the snow from the vehicles. My ex's mon worked at a hinda dealership when i was seeing her daughter and bout me one for Christmas one year, but i have a garage and haven't ever thought to use it. Might want to look into that...

Lemme break it down for you:
He used to date a chick but they broke up.
Said chick's mom used to work at a Honda Dealership.
They use fancy plow-like devices to clear snow off the cars at that particular dealership.
Said chick's mom bought dude one of those fancy plow-like devices for X-mas while he was dating her daughter.

You must be getting old :D

LOL at above, but OP I use a normal old snow brush I think from WalMart, and never had a problem, I don't push hard and no scratches on anywhere from it.

OP, if you are really paranoid, you can buy an extension cord and hair drier, plug it in the bed, and melt all the snow off.
