salt deposits

having a hard time getting them to come off the paint.
i got soap and water + assortment of different washing materials ei: sponges, gloves, rags etc.

anyone have a solution? google said white vinegar. wasn't sure if that would be great on my truck and I don't have any of it non the less

 

Have you tried a clay bar treatment after washing? Should do the trick.

 

i don't have any clay bars.

 

you can get a clay bar detailing kit(clay + spray bottle) for about 11 dollars from the auto parts store.

 

Get a clay bar kit and some good wax. The clay will remove most deposits, but it also removes the wax.

 

+1 for automotive clay bar. The stuff works well to remove contaminants that are on the paint. While you're at it apply some polish after clay bar then wax.
