Sun screen stained paint..

My pasty white family came over from England for their vacation. My Cousin was so pale she loaded up on sun screen so she wouldn't burnt. As we were riding around in the truck we had all the windows down and were hanging our arms out the window. I noticed later there was sun screen on the side of the truck, but forgot to clean it for about a week. When I did clean it it was very difficult to get off. I used cleaner wax and clay bar, but it still looks smugged where the screen was. Anyone have any better cleaning ideas?

 

Had the same thing happen to my truck a few years ago. I think I had to wax and polish it three or four times before it came off.

 

Just about anything that cuts grease and is not acidic should do the trick.

I wouldn't expect a clay bar or cleaner wax to do much.

 

I have these stains too since I am always in the water. Use a mild cleaner, polish and wax. Usually gets the job done for me but sometimes it's a bitch. I try not to touch the paint with my hands when I cake sunscreen on my face but when I do forget I look back and I let a big "FFFFFFK!'
