Anybody used the 303 Aerospace "fabric guard" version on the trd seats to keep oil's, water, etc from penetrating and causing those grey spots?

Has anyone used the 303 fabric guard on the new '12+ seats water repellant seats? I was gonna pick some up but I read the back and it said not to use on vinyl as it could damage the material. Wasn't sure what the new seats are made out of, so I wanted to see if anyone has tried it.
