    fresh cut leaked on side of truckbed....
    been there for 2 weeks now just noticed today while washing...

    shit looks like gorilla glue and it does not want to come off.

    Goo gone has soaked for almost an hour and no results

    Help me before I go get the brake cleaner

    Maybe try ice, like Fletch suggested. I would try rubbing some gasoline on it.

    Not much works well. I get tree sap on my truck every now and then. I found that letting it dry for a few weeks and then very gently picking it off will do the trick. Patience is key.

    Do not use a solvent on your paint. Nail polish remove is acetone.

    I've just used dirt. Rub dirt on the sap, wash with household dish soap like Dawn. Comes right off

    Butter is the best. They are both veggy oils, and the butter will soften the sap.

    If there was ever anything to trust a Canadian on I would think it would be sap.
