cleaning the engine

i see alot of you talk about washing the engine using special products from kragen...

try this...

spray ur engine while its on and warm and stay away from parts like the alternator. after wetting it down spray the it all with degreaser and let it soak in for a bit stay away from the paint around the engine. spray with water again and then spray it all with armoral and let it just sit there, no need to whipe down

my girlfriends cousins husband details cars and has contracts with some toyota dealerships here in san diego and he told me how he does it

A friend of mine did that with his '94 Jaguar. It turned out so clean, it looked brand new!
