Steering Wheel cleaner?

I looked and couldn't find anything on what you guys are using to clean your steering wheel. Mine feels sticky and was looking for something to clean it. What do you use? I have used turtle wax ice interior cleaner, but not sure if that's part of the problem. Thanks.

It's just strong enough for most jobs.

 

You could try Meguiar's Ultimate Interior Detailer. If thats not enough some APC followed by 303 protectant should pretty it up. Meguiar's M40 has cleaner and protectant in one.

 

X2 on the einzett cockpitt premium, if not you can try a safe APC diluted

Mr. Clean magic eraser.

I also use it on my nasty dirty console cover and anything else I can rub it on.

 

I find that 90% time, a damp rag with water works 100% of the time.

The other 10%, diluted Simple Green, then water after.

Thanks for the ideas. One has to work.

 

Mr. clean magic eraser. Get it damp and rub the steering wheel down with it. After you are done hit it with a quality leather conditioner, it will look and feel new again. I used Lexol leather conditioner, you can get it at Oreilly's. The magic eraser really is magic.
