    Been wanting one of
    These for a long time...

I have super hard water where I live
    Here in Cali.....it starts
    Etching on a
Hot day before I can get around it with the hose...

I used to have a trailer with a tank but sold it....

Any suggestions on getting the most for my $??

    I normally wash 3 cars a week....

I would just put a tank in the garage but my pressure washer needs pressure
    Water to work.....

    Appreciate and suggestions.......Warren

Checked that one out....looks like $90 in resin every 400 gals of water.....

    Ouch....

Have you tried one of the wanna be di, water softener models?

I guess you can rejuvenate the resin with salt and use it over and over....

Got a whirlpool water softener from Lowes at my house. Ran a separate line with a faucet that I use to wash the Tacoma and my wife's Sonata. No hard water spots....:D

We have the Kinetico water softener for the whole house.
It requires no electrical power and only uses salt as required. Most units will regen at set times regardless of water use.

Or dishes are spotless after washing.
I can wash our vehicles and blow dry them by driving around the block. No water spots.

I ended up ordering the pure water 4 1/2 X 10 housing with 2 of the softening resin cartridges......

That way I can have a backup if it stops working....

I know these units add salt to the water...

    Do they promote corrosion?

Is this something I shouldn't use on the undercarriage and motor?
