It's really easy! It's just clips. Grab with your thumb in the cup holder and fingers outside and give her a tug! But unscrew your shifter knob first

yeah it's painfully easy. i was popping out the cupholders and stuff before i realized it comes out independently! FYI i derped this plastic, and i was able to peel off the paint on the chrome around the shifter opening, no problem.
