Hey all, has anyone tried anything as a temporary film to cover parts of their vehicle for long distance trips?

Driving 1K + miles, will result in metric crap loads of bugs hitting and sticking to everything. Hood, grill, side mirrors, ect.

Any ideas how to protect temporarily for long trips?

    Too few to list.
Wash and wax before the trip. Otherwise, saran wrap is not a bad idea though I don't think it would stay on. Vinyl wrapping perhaps but it ain't cheap.

buyRoadwrap.com, I use this stuff and it works very well. I also use 3m painters tape as well when I take trips.

I use Bounce dryer sheets to clean bugs off.
Just wet the sheet, wipe the bugs off.
It is so easy, you will cry.
