You know that since those steps hang out and down they are going to get messed up in the rocks every time; unless you really pussyfoot around on the trail.

Take the bars off and have the sensitive areas Line-x'ed - it'll last longer and more durable then paint.

i quit using powdercoat for that very reason. i'm always banging up my bumpers and sliders. its nothing but rustoleum satin black for me from now on!!
