hi everyone . Just wondering what everyone thinks a plate bumper should be painted with. I have picked up gloss rust-oleum paint. How would that look. What would you guys recommend.

Subbed. Have had a rear bumper since last July and haven't done anything with it. Needs paint at home or powder coat.

For a plate bumper I'd personally do flat black.

Prime it and bed liner it. My rear plate bumper is rhino lined and is very durable.

    Yuck.

I wouldn't go gloss, use semi gloss or satin...

I used rustoleum bed liner spray and I'm happy with the results.

Paint it with Spray Bed Liner! The expensive specialty stuff is the way to go, but you cannot go wrong with rattle-can bed liner too. That'd be your best and cheapest bet too because you can touch it up whenever you want. :woot:

Not yet. Had to do a lot of work at the lake last weekend and didn't get a chance. But have the sawhorses and tarp ready. I bought self etching primer and spray bed liner. All by rustoleum. Also have to get lights for my plate. Looking online to see what's the best way to light it.
