Stains on fenders!

I took my mud flaps off awhile ago and noticed that there was a black stain/scuff that is in the outline of my mud flaps left on my fenders. I have washed it several times but I don't know what I should do to remove them without harming the material. Any idea's on removing them?

 

Try taking a clay bar to it.

uhm...goo-gone works really well and then wash it and wax it.

gotcha, I'd say try goo-gone first then make sure to wash it really good and put a nice coat of wax on it. That's the method I would use or a clay bar and see what happens there but try the goo-gone.

 

Alright thanks for the ideas, I'll try the goo-gone tomorrow morning and update on how it goes.

 

goo gone works good....if that dosnt work try the Mr clean magic eraser. it takes alot of stuff off

 

Well I just tried the goo gone and it does not look like it's working I don't have a clay bar or many other things. If any body else has any ideas please share, thanks.

 

Clay bar or some polishing/rubbing compound...You may be stuck painting it over tho...
