So I want to repair those terrible chips that everyone gets on their hood from rocks and whatnot. I would like to use a paint pen. I have never done this before, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me who the leading brands are in touch up paint. Thanks in advance for the help!

Buy any matching touch up paint you want. For that amount of coverage it makes no difference. Then put a bit in a cup, on a piece of plastic, or whatever and apply using the ragged end of a paper match. Works like a tiny little brush and the paint flows right into the chip. That's an old school trick taught to me by an old time bodyman about 30 years ago.

I use a toothpick to place a drop of paint in the chip and then spread the paint to the edge of the chip. Works out well.
