I wouldn't use windex.... Get some exterior detailer.

I used windex on my previously owned jeep and I swear, it took off some of the clear coat (or did something to the paint).

    Sonofabitch!

My truck went in to get the spots buffed in June. Got it back & it looked 75% better. I showed the body shop what was left & they said bring it back & we'll fix it up.

So I took it back 2 weeks ago and they started buffing again & went through the clear coat :annoyed:

So they say no prob we'll paint the hood. I took it in Monday & my wife went to pick it up today. I get home from work and glance at it quick & it looks really good.

I get a few things done & head to the garage to REALLY look it at.

I see "dull" spots about baseball size 3 places on the hood, pits in the paint & small scratches in 3 places all over the hood!

Of course it's 6pm and they were closed....I left a voicemail of what I found.

I cut small electrical tape arrows to point at the spots. I can't get off tomorrow so my dad is taking it in. He stopped by to see it and could not believe a job like that came from that shop......they always do top work.

Let's see what happens tomorrow......I'm a VERY VERY anal/obsessive compulsive person that has to have my vehicles P-R-I-S-T-I-N-E so I'm losing it!!:goingcrazy:
