I have decided to buy a porter cable 7424 polisher to polish my truck and other cars with. Does anyone have a recomendation on where to buy it online? Also, any pro's out there have a recomendation on what polishing products to buy? I have some light brush scratchs that I want to remove, then apply a good sealant or wax? I have used meguires in the past.

    Thanks,

You can check out these different forums for different techniques and products:

    www.autogeekonline.net
    www.meguiarsonline.com
    www.autotopia.com

A lot of people like the Meguiars 105 and 205 combo. I have been reading a ton on all of these sites and have asked for either the Megiars G110 or the PC 7424 for my birthday.

Autogeek.net has some pretty good kits So does properautocare.com - here

Also keep the G110 in mind - here

Also ask mShu7 if you have any specific detailing questions. He is full of good advise.

You'll love your PC 7424-best vehicle investment I've ever made! I'm a Meguiar's guy and have always used #83 & #80 for cleaning & polishing. Usually top with NXT. I've read a lot of good stuff on the M105 and plan to pick up a bottle of that ASAP.
