I got my Tacoma yesterday and the giant yellow and white warning sticker on the sun visor was bugging me so I removed it. However, now there is a big area of glue that was left behind. Any suggestions on how to remove the glue from the material without complete screwing up my visor? :D

I attached a picture of the drivers side visor with the sticker removed and the passenger side visor with the giant sticker that I would like to remove next.

    Cheers.

Goo Gone. I sprayed it with it and used the cap from the Goo Gone bottle to scrape it off. It took forever, but well worth it.

Member PistolPete documented his visor sticker removal over at Tundra Solutions - He's on here too on occasion He also suggested that if you have peeled the visor off prior to steaming like the OP to THOROUGHLY soak the visor and then place a damp cloth over the visor and steam, something about solvents dissolving in the fibers where steaming will have an opposite effect... beyond me ... PistolPete's a chemist..
anywho... I know he's done this and takes impeccable care of his truck

I tried the GooGone and I couldn't get it to work.

Thanks for ths link. I'll give the steam a try and report back.

    Cheers.

UPDATE: I tried the steam and couldn't get that to work either. Oh well .... live and learn I guess.
