Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.

X2. use newspaper. it's a PITA, but after the first time, they won't get up there anymore. put the traps under a layer of newspaper. won't get caught on their feet and will keep you truck from getting scratched when they run.

    LOL

As a cat person I would say use a spray bottle with water when you see them around your truck. This usually trains our cat inside the house.

However who knows what a cat does when you are away. I suspect ours sleeps. ;)

I had a cat that was spraying inside my CJ7 on the floorboard. I rented a small animal trap from the feed shop, and put it under the Jeep. I caught a mangy old tomcat, I sprayed it with the hose and thrashed the trap around a bit before I let it out. Haven't seen it since. Good luck.

I have cats walking all over my truck, have yet to scratch it. Every morning two or three go running off, paw prints all over my hood, but no scratches. I guess the cats here are more courteous.

Ahhh catch & release. Release them at the pound. Legal & humane.
Owners can look at the pound for 'em, & pay to get 'em back.

I've got 2 of the furry pests, but they're indoor kats. No fleas, no absess's from cat fights, no pissed off neighbours.

Theirs this radio station on one of the am stations that is all about car problems. People call up with their car problems and they give them the answer and make it funny at the same time. Well last week someone called up with the cat problem and tried everything but none of it worked. So they told her to get fox urine and spray it under her hood and the cats will never come back. They said you can order fox urine online because some hunters use it.

throw a blanket on the hood and then put some random mouse traps around on it.
