Wax on black trim

I think I found a way to get wax off of black trim. I use tire shine on my mirriors so they get all shiney and I had white spots from wax on all my door handles and bed rails. So the other day I said what the hell and put left over tireshine on the trim and it seemed to get all the white marks off. Just thought I'd share incase somebody hates the look of the white!
