pressure washing cloth seats???

    20% tint, painted handles,painted grill, wet okole seatcovers,sockmonkey decals
    ok ive got a work van with cloth bench seats in the back, and one was takin out, and has gotten tons of dust & dirt on it in our barn, if i pressure washed it would it dry fully if i leave it setting out in the sun???

    I wouldn't pressure wash them, you could blow a hole right through the clothe!!!

    Try vacuuming them off first. Then try some spray-on cleansers. Vacuum some more.

    Call your local upholstery shops and ask how much it would cost to clean them. It might not be that expensive.

    Have you looked at the clothe more closely? Can you remove the skins?
    If you can somehow remove the seat skins - put them in the clothes washer.

    if there not old and brittle, you can power wash them. When I was redoing my old 4runner i took the seats out and took them to a do it yourself carwash place to use the powerwashers on them...Worked pretty good, just took a few days to dry completely.

    ok, see it dont really matter about these seats cause its just a work van, and i aint to concerned about keepin them lookin new...i wasnt gna pressure wash them hard, just do it to get all the dirt & dust off them cause i know a shop vac wouldnt get all of it....
