    I have a chrome delta bed box and i wanted to make it black. any suggestions on how to do this? iv never painted anything on my truck so this would be my first. thanks guys

    getting there....
    the prep is gonna what counts. gotta wash it really well........i'd use dish soap........light sand it with a fine grit sand paper, basically to scuff up the surface, then wipe down with acetone.primer it,then use a good paint such as rustoleum, thats made for metal applications, or use a bedliner to coat it with. should turn out fine.

    that would be cool to use bedliner. so the sanding is just to give it a rough surface so the paint will stick?

    yep.....and the bedliner will hold up alot better than paint will.
