Do scratch repair kits for windshields really work?
The car I bought for my son has a scratch on the windshield -it looks like the previous owner ran the wipers with a ruined blade. The scratch is not deep - it looks like something you could clean off with glass cleaner - but you can't. I've seen kits at the auto parts store with some kind of rouge/rubbing compound they claim will erase it. Anybody know if they work as advertised?
