help stain on dashboard

I bought the truck a couple of years ago with this spot on the dash and as time goes by it bothers me more. I was wondering what I could put on it to make it look better. Maybe paint those spots with something. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

I think you are doomed. That looks pretty baked on.

If it were me, i would look for something (paint-like) that i could apply over the entire dash in black.

I know it sucks. I am not sure what happened to it. Thanks.

Try Goo Gone, Simple Green. If you can find a place that sells TSP, try that. It can be harsh so I would use gloves and be sure to clean it thoroughly with clean water.

Edit: Also use a soft brush.

I would try simple green but I wouldn't use goo gone. That stuff has a way of tearing up plastics. Maybe try a spot in an area you can't see first.

Good luck though. That stain looks pretty nasty. Post up pics of your fix.
