As we all know, the tacoma didn't come with a front license plate bracket, so i was forced to drill holes in the damn bumper! I took the license plate of the other day when i was washing the truck and noticed a black mark on the bottom edge where the plate is. Whats the best way to remove the mark and prevent this from happening again ? It doesn't look like the mark went throught the clear coat or anything, but im sure there has to be some type of remover for these types of marks. Thanks

Is the mark on the surface or does your fingernail get stuck down in it as you slide it across perpendicularly?

A picture would be very helpful. :D

Once you can feel the scratch you will have to fill it, sand it, and repaint the whole bumper. I say use touch up paint then you can use electrical tape a piece on the bumper and on your license plate to limit further rubbing. Lastly, bend the plate up!
