Just did mine today, took about two hours with a wax at the the end. I also have "orange flecks" around my tailgate. It sure as hell looks like rust to me. The clay took some off and others are not coming off at all. Any Idea's ??????

    2 clay bars 160g total+showtime spray+towel for like $16

my truck was two-tone and debadged from previous owner so you could see where the emblems used to be... now its like brand new paint (after the waxing with the powerball)

Just did a full detail on my truck after owning it for a month. Clay bar, polish, 2 coats of wax, and 4 hours later my the Tacoma looks and feels fantastic.

You may have to polish them out. If you do not have a polisher or polish start with Meg's Scratch X.

Thanks for the tip 95SLE, that's the next level on my detail adventure. Not looking forward to trying my first polish on my taco. Maybe the wifes car...?

That's the kit I used. No complaints. Buy yourself an extra spray bottle of Quick Detailer. It comes with the kit, but IMO the size they give you is not large enough.

The Clay Magic Perfect Finish Kit is a great off-the-shelf item as well. It comes with lube too.

i clay barred my 06 acura TL after i had gotten a significant amount of over spray on it cause some jack ass didnt shut the paint booth. let me tell you how pleased i was! that had to be the best thing ive ever done to that car, it was amazing. took about 2 hours with waxing but like i said there was a lot of over spray. highly recommend doing this if you have never done it....so easy.

Clay'd my truck when I first got it, could feel the diff but seeing a drastic change didnt happen till I waxed it after the claying.
Yesterday I clay'd my daughters 98 maxima that I thought I was going to have to paint. Worked like it advertised. The thing got all the crud off and made it look awesome. Going to some meguirs #21 and a coat of wax on it this afternoon. It's going to make this car look amazing.
