The back of my 07 Camry got keyed a few weeks ago. I got home to see my dad went ahead and put some touch up paint over it. Now it looks horrible!!

Is there any quick solution to this? Is there anything I can get rid of the paint with, then use some scratch solution, like Scratch X to remove the scratch?

    Thanks

    Too many mods to list
You could buff it up a bit with a Buffing Compound and the Wax it. You might not even need to use scratch removal it it ends up blending well.

How deep was the scratch? Was it down to the metal, or just a small scratch that didn't go through the paint?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Nice find Gary. I have some chips I need to touch up but was reluctant to because of the blob factor.

If you are afraid of the blobs, you can use a nib file to remove some of the material then sand with 600 grit paper on a small block to get it level, follow with a polishing compound like 3M Finesse It on a small wheel attached to a drill. It should come up real nice.
